Proper weighing scale?

I got scale off Amazon to weigh my beardies and ball python but it isn't very accurate in giving the correct weight. For instance I went to the vet got a weigh in then went home and it was 200g-300g heavier

Was told a normal kitchen scale would do but I have bought a ton and none have worked properly

Mine are never the same either but thats a lot of difference there -

It even shows weight without anything on it think it's just bad luck honestly though the vet has a perfect scale every time

Send it back if you can --- I got mine years ago at a store called Tuesdays - I would look at Walmart in housewares they carry them there

I was thinking a smaller scale would be good and just put a bowl on it like the vet normally does

Unsure what the difference is between scales but mine is labeled a kitchen scale I'm guessing it's food related

That is what mine is and it has been a big help -- I think mine was off from the vets like 20-30 grams but not 200-300 --

Mine was always higher than 20-30 I have had some that was off but only 50-60 grams so I kept swapping it out for another scale

Thinking I may do some research and see what the most accurate scale is even if it's a tad expensive. I figured I would ask to see if anyone had a scale that's fairly accurate as I said I haven't had luck with any
