Proper Basking Light?

Enclosure size 4x2x2, I have a 20% off coupon to Petco so I was looking at the Zoo Med Basking Spot Lamp they have but was curious on what watt to use. I've been told 75w and 100w by two different stores. I'm confused and seeing what people on here think is the best for my size enclosure.

The wattage of the basking light depends on a lot of different things, room temp, distance of light to basking site, age of beardie since babies need it hotter, etc. The main thing is that you have to make sure you're using an accurate thermometer, either an infrared temp gun or a digital with a long wire & probe end. Also wanted to mention that the brand of basking bulb isn't important, you can even use a standard household light bulb, a standard spot lamp, etc. No reason to pay extra $ for a reptile bulb.

room temp def plays a lot but this is what i did,bought a dimmer and used a 45 watt bulb,tho u can use a 60 and adjust from there
