Okay. He can easily get to his basking spot, his new lights are coming on friday, so he may perk up with the extra light (he is used to it) I will also post a picture of his set-up if needed.

That's the idea, give him some baby food squash + water. Be careful about giving him large food items /insects. Everything should be easy to digest. He prob. hasn't poo'd yet but it might be a good idea to test for parasites. Sometimes a large load of parasites can cause prolapsing. How much time does he spend basking versus in the hide ? Is it possibly too hot in the tank ?

I made a sweet potato/water smoothie for him, I cooked the sweet potato also. He doesn't seem to want to eat, and I'm not sure how to encourage him to eat it. But he spends about 1/3 of the daylight in his hide, and 2/3 of daylight basking. He has pooed 2 times since the prolapse, both times not much liquid, mostly dry poo, with some white gooey pee/poo stuff. His temps are normal, and I have a 150 watt bulb in there.

That sounds good, if he's passing his stool with no trouble twice already that's great. Just keep the insects on the smaller side or if you have large ones you can cut them up a bit. Give him a 10 minute lukewarm soak twice a week and dribble water on his snout or in front of him to encourage him to drink.He needs to stay hydrated to make it easier to poo + for less chance of straining + prolapsing. BTW, can you post pics pf his tank including the lights ?

I will give him a bath, and drip water on his nose. I will also add some collard greens into his sweet potato stuff, cause he loves that. I am trying to download the pic of his setup, but it keeps getting stuck at 100%.

alright! and how does his set up look? I have a 150 watt ceramic heat emitter in his tank right now. Since his other bulb burnt out. New lights are coming tomorrow though

Set up looks good ! Did you build the enclosure ? I always like real wood like that and it's very natural for a beardie. You might add a nice big flat rock for keeping the claws trimmed. Also, what type of uvb light do you have, it looks like the compact ? If so you def. need to switch to a long tube t5 like Reptisun 10.0 or Arcadia D3 12-14 % .

Yes, we did build it. I will get a rock for him! and I am going to replace the UVB light soon, it is a compact.
