Hi,
Does anyone have specific recommendations for a probe thermometer to buy? I have an infrared thermometer, ideally, I'd like a thermometer that monitors the temperature of the basking spot and the cool spot and can turn on the CHE if it gets below 65 degrees and turn off the basking lamp if it gets above 110 degrees. My home temp is highly variable (San Francisco house with no insulation, could get to be 80 degrees air temp in the house which causes the basking spot to be 120 in basking spot or 60 degrees at night). I can adjust the wattage of my basking bulb (it's 100w now). And having a "smart" thermometer sounds more appealing to *****-proof my setup. Thoughts?
Thanks,
Ed
