Prickly Pears?

I watched a video on the net as to how to prepare the pear and skin it. How much and how often can a beardie have it and should they eat the seeds? I would think no to the seeds. Do I cut it up into little munch size pieces? I have never had this fruit before but on the beautiful dragon website i think it says daily. I plan to start Draco slowly though. I can't find cactus pad leaves anywhere here. Just wondering. Heard it is good for them.

go to a mexican grocery store it goes by the name nopal where are you located yeah cactus pad leaves taste great! for humans too! also prickly pear great as well very sweet when ripe

I'd becareful with the seeds from the fruits. They are very indigestable and too much can pose an impaction risk. The cactus pads are very good for them, though. They are very high in calcium, I believe. Be sure to remove all the thorns before feeding!

I sure hope that Draco likes the pear, the more variety the better! I've been looking into different weeds and plants that I can add into Kratos diet. My plan is to start growing them this spring so that I can give him a good balanced diet. Cactus pads were on a few different list of things to feed, hopefully you will find some of those too!
