prefered gutloading

not sure if this goes into feeding or feeders but i was just wondering whatevery one used to gutload their crickets an roaches. right now i use something from zilla brand an i put a shredded carrot in a different area so they get a variety. any replies would be awesome sence in the fall im starting a roach colony an wanna get all this gutloading stuff worked out.

I have a colony of dubia and I feed them a high protein cat food and have water crystals available all the time. I will also toss in any discarded veggies and fruits that are leftover. They LOVE them. This should be all you need to do in making sure that they are fed properly and "gut loaded".
