We live in NC, so we got hit pretty hard with hurricane Matthew. Once the power went out yesterday, we were prepared with batteries, but Linus of course lost his heat. The only thing I could think of was grabbing him and putting him under my shirt for warmth. I took Linus, and gave Onyx, the Uromastyx to the hubby, and we spent last night under blankets with our lizards safe and warm cuddled up to us.
The power came on a little bit ago, so I have a very hungry beardie wondering where his dinner is. (we didnt feed him in case he couldn't get warm enough to digest).
