does any one have any tips on getting your buddy to poop in a designated aria??? my guy waits for me to handle him then poops on me. he is not stressed and no it's not a defence behavior cause he lets me pet him for a while first. he will almost never poop in his viv ( i dont blame him) but i tried a shallow dish and news paper in a corner and he did it like once on the paper, but can't get him to do it regularly?? any one have any ideas??

Try giving him a bath when you first take him out. Most of the time, once they start using their baths as a toliet, they won't go anywhere else unless they have to.

Bath training is pretty simple if they dont really enjoy baths.
If you leave them in the bath until they poop and then take them out right afterwards they will soon crack that "oh pooping means i can get out"
Means no smelly vivs for me aswell ^_^
