Yes,all three,Xander,Simone and Milo are Whites. Xander is my only girl; her and Simone (male) are named backwards because I didn't know what sex they were. I just can't make myself change their names! They were so skinny when I got them that I love how fat they have become.

At a certain age, as early as 4 months, the males will start to call. Females are larger and more heart shaped but that is only as an adult. My two boys are really loud when they call and respond back if I start making a noise similiar to their croak. I love to hear them!

It's funny you mentioned the Waxys. I have a couple on hold until the weather is warmer here in Wisconsin. I have their tank all ready and can only hope for a break in the weather.

That's awesome! They're so adorable! I have only seen one in person. They just make me laugh. I would love to get a Whites as well. They just have such good personalities!

Do you have them all in seperate cages?

A friend from Wisconsin is down here visiting now, and he says it's like summer here ahaha

Whites have awesome personalities. They are so mellow and forgiving! MOST frogs of the same species can be kept together without any problems. Once in a while, you might get a dominant one but that is really rare. I would never mix species though, due to different needs. My Whites are in a 60 gallon (leaves room for a few more!) and my Fire Belly Toads, 5 of them, have their own tank.

I bet your friend doesn't want to leave. We have so much snow this year and the temps and wind only make it worse.

Yeah I would never mix species, but i wasnt sure if males could be housed together without incident. My friend had a really chunky one name Larry. haha. He was so awesome. But I;m definitely in love with the waxies. Their smiles make me laugh. hahaha. 60 gallon?! haha spoiled frogs. I just set up a 55 gallon saltwater and only wished it was bigger. Couldnt get my hands on anything bigger with a good deal.

But yeah he says it's hot here. haha. It was 70 on Christmas afterall haha. But he doesn't mind cold weather. Anything below 45 makes me miserable. It's been really windy here too. Wouldn't be so bad if the gusts weren't so constant.

Waxys would be great for someone who is familiar with bearded dragons as they are very similiar in care. Waxys are so different from other frogs, takes a bit to get used to.

I had a saltwater tank at one time, but not as large as yours. Loved it.

Wow that would be an amazingly beautiful tank! And I wasn't aware Waxies were any different from other tree frogs!!! i have admired from afar, because I know I can't afford any more animals so I have never really researched them. That's really interesting to me.

And I love my SW tank...nothing but crabs in it for now....but in another month I'll be getting my first fish in it!

Wow I didnt know you could actually keep axolotl! He is really cool! I know nothing about them, but have seen them on tv. Take a lot to care for one???

You defintiely have some interesting pets! I've never seen a merle chihuahua! But he is handsome! And i LOVE rats!!!!

FLORA- Little Newton is VERY big now! In his "special face" picture it looks like a large adult dog with a bad afro. haha. SO CUTE

I love rats too. I kept a bunch of hamsters before I got my snake, but rats are so much better. I love playing with them and snuggling with them and spoiling them with oatmeal and granola before Cu eats them... they are so much nicer than hamsters (probably because hamsters get so inbred), and absolutely adoreable!

I have more...I just can't find my pictures lol. One border collie that passed about 2 years ago (old age), a lab mix that passed 4 months after (cancer)...those two were hard to lose...they were my babies. Derrick is my big tom-cat (he likes to be outdoors, so we can't have him in our apartment. Kia is my other cat that had to stay at my parents'. Shasta is my golden & chow mix...she's gorgeous...I don't have any pics though! And Scooter...another lab mix my parents got after I moved out...he's an odd one lol.
Sorry for the pic overload! I have tons of those 4 lol.
