Post office woes..

Very worried!! Ordered a baby Bearded Dragon (hypo translucent leatherback male) which was sent Express mail via USPS and it was supposed to arrive yesterday at 12:00 PM. It was shipping from PA to NY (not far at all) and it still hasn't arrived, and the tracking information has not even been updated. Not sure what to think, I hope no one stole the dragon or that it is in that box possibly on the brink of death. No word of it as of yet today either. Anyone go through this?

Call the breeder and the post office. ASAP. Make them both aware there is a problem.

I dont know if this is happening everywhere, I dont think it is, But my mail has been re-routed to make an overnight pit stop in Omaha before it arrives here in Lincoln at our rental. Im not sure if all states are going to be taking an extra day to get the mail to us, It could just be Nebraska, But it's a possibility that it took a pit stop at the halfway point.

I am not a big fan of UPS or USPS, mainly because of my location. :? I prefer FED EX, instead. I always get my overnight shipment before 10:00 AM with FED EX. I hope your delivery comes soon.

not a big fan of usps. they do stink, i've had to chase down my live orders i don't know how many times with the "customer service" or "managers" telling me because i didn't insure the package even though it says on the box in big blue letters KEEP AT POST OFFICE it was my fault. hope you get an update.

Funny you posted this - today we sent out a shipment of silkworms and our customer said to have it held at the post office, so we labeled it very well on all sides. We asked the postman as we were shipping it if the way we labeled it would be sufficient, and he said it didn't matter because odds are they would try to deliver it anyway.

And people wonder why the post offices are closing. With crap like that, its no wonder people don't want to use them for primary shipping. :silent:

Yup, but its this big tragedy that we the tax payers are supposed to be so concerned about and subsidize even more. I say shut em all down and let the other services duke it out for the business. We will get better service for cheaper.

USPS is the worst. I personally love UPS. theyve always been great to me. the guy who does the UPS routes around my area always has my back. If im not home he'll go out his way end of his shift to ensure i get my package. calls sometimes to lol
