Possibly sick larry

This past week Larry has stopped eating and just being laying around barely moving. I have been away at college and my brother has been caring for him. He’s 4 years old. I came home this weekend and realized he had the wrong bulb in (100w instead of 150w) so the temperature was off by about ten degrees. I have since fixed this and have his basking at 95, warm side 80s, and cool side 70s(he immediately moved towards the heat when i switched it.) He has been dragging his body more than normally walking. Originally I thought it was constipation so I had my brother give him a bath every other day this week and he pooped three times. Does not seem to have helped. He drank while in the bath as well. Today he pooped and it was an odd yellowish color and kinda mucus like. He is also very angry which is not normal for him. Could the temp change have caused brumation?(he has never brumated before). UVB is a 22in T5ho and I just replaced it within the last month. He was eating a mix of dubias, wax worms, super worms, and horn worms along with collard greens. However it has been very cold/snowy where I live so only super worms have been available. He has gone a couple weeks in the past of just eating superworms with no issue before. I’ll attach a photo of him / his poop so be cautioned if you don’t want to see that aha. Trying to figure out if a vet visit is needed or something else is happening as I am a very broke college student and it will be hard to afford. (also he looks a little odd in that photo but he has not shown any signs in the past of mbd movement wise)

Hello,

He does appear a bit aggitated. I would say that too low of a temperature for awhile will cause health issues if he isn't in a true
brumation phase. However, it seems like something is off if he is dragging his body. Where is the T5 tube bulb placed, on top of
or underneath of a screen top? Please post some pictures of his tank setup just so we can see.
Have you noticed any swelling of his hands or feet/limbs, etc?
Are you giving him calcium on a regular basis also?
If he was in brumation & healthy then his beard should be clear & not dark so something is bothering him right now.
You are positive that Larry is male & not possibly a female? Just making sure, as there are cases where they do develop & lay
eggs over the winter to early spring. A lot of people get a surprise thinking their dragon is male but a female instead.
What are you measuring the temperatures with?
You could consider getting a fecal done on him just to be sure he doesn't have worms or parasites. If you can't find a vet to do
one, since you are in college, perhaps a vet on vet tech on campus might do one? Any regular vet can do a fecal but, don't let
them automatically medicate without cause or they could harm him.

Let us know how he is doing.

Hi,
I’ll attach photos of the setup. I will say normally the paper towels stretch until the far left side of the tank just before the tree (keep a little bit of glass because he likes sleeping on it) but he has been laying near that spot so I hadn’t put any down. The UVB is on top of the screen but it has always been this way. I don’t believe there is any swelling of his feet or limbs that I have noticed. I dust his bugs or sprinkle some over his veggies(Zoo Med Repti Calcium with D3 Reptile Supplement). I will say I do not do this every time I feed him. I am 95% sure Larry is a boy as one time he had sperm plug(or at least i’m fairly sure this is what it was). I am back at school currently otherwise I would check. I am measuring the temps with a heat gun I also have an temperature gauge on the warm side. Aside from the most recent bowel movement they only happen in the bath. Would it be fine to collect the sample that way or would the water mess with it? Also since it’s been so long without eating should i start thinking about force feeding?

our vet takes bath poo no problem. we just grab it right away and bag it up, wet paper towel and all. this also helped it not dry out on the 2 hour car ride.

are your lights blue, or does it just look that way in the picture?

It just looks that way in the photo because the heat light has a yellowish tinge to it

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
