Possibly respiratory infection!!!

So I was bathing my baby beardie yesterday and he decided he didn't like me dropping water on his back. Well he decided to turn around and hiss at me ( not his best idea) and a little bit of water went in his mouth. Then he started coughing and it soon stopped. He seems fine now a bit cranky because he's in shed but otherwise fine. I was just wondering what signs I should look for?

Thanks!

I doubt that will cause a long term problem. Maybe have him sleep with his body facing downward slightly to help water drain from his lungs. I wouldn't worry too much though if he has good lighting and is otherwise healthy. Things to look out for include lethargic behavior, a lot of mucous buildup around the mouth and nose, and regular heavy breathing or trouble breathing.

Gus - he’s a rescue!
How much water should I be giving my bearded dragon? He will only drink from a dropper when I drop on his nose and I’m not sure if I should give it to him until he won’t drink anymore? Or should I stop after he’s had a certain amount?
