Well, that's the result of the jet stream, I believe, and that means that all the ash that would come out of the volcano would travel east, and eventually, all around the world, blocking the sun, and causing global temps to drop. An example of this is the eruption that happens in Iceland a few years ago, which caused the temps to drop in Europe for a few months, I believe, though I was in the US at the time so I'm not an expert on that. Of course, if the super volcano erupted, the effects would be much larger scale, but you get the idea. Of course, this is only my theory, so I might be wrong

But you guys are right, such a large eruption is unlikely. If the volcano does erupt, it might erupt on a much smaller scale (and only spurt out a small amount of lava and that's it.) :wink: .
