Possible sprain?

So my beardie tiger is about 17 inches now. It's not like shes lethargic but she's not perked up. I think that's because she doesn't want to hold herself up. She has a slight limp when she walks. Her eyes seem to be alert and she eats just fine. But she doesn't hold herself up and she has runny poo. I was thinking possible parasites but maybe her runny poo is from stress about her arm?if that makes sense. What do you guys think

Hello,

I hope she didn't sprain her arm. Are you using a good UVB light for her?
How often do you supplement her with calcium?
If she is limping right now, I would to lower her basking spot so she doesn't have to climb as much & hurt it worse in case she did injure it somehow.
Is the area swollen?
Have you gotten a fecal done yet?

I had a similar experience with George (my male BTS) when he was about 6 months old (?) initially diagnosed by a vet as a sprain, didn't improve, different vet took xrays and discovered it was a broken bone in his upper left arm, and he was put on pain relief/antiflamatories (IM injections) the break pinned and arm and left shoulder immobilized (all done under a general) , well immobilized much as is possible with a boisterous little juvenile lizard.
Several weeks later, caste removed , arm good as new.

And at about 15 months old Puff was seen to be limping when on the floor , so straight off to the same vet as who fixed George's arm ,and when he placed him on the floor , no more limp .... little bugger was making a liar of me .... his gate was perfect in the presence of the vet and afterwards.

Keep an eye on it, if it doesn't improve in a few days, I think it will be a good idea for a good reptile vet to see him.

I have not gotten a fecal done. I'm a little short on money right now. Her arm isn't swollen. She just doesn't want to use it. I'm using the reptisun 10.0 24" I just had it recently replaced too. And I did hear that those lights have had problems lately. Could that be it?

And as far as calcium dusting goes. I try to dust her feeder's at least every day except for the one day out of the week I give multivitamins. Only time I don't dust Is when I feed bsfl. But if it's super's or dubias I always dust. Sometimes when I give her her salads I forget to dust but I usually feed insects and veggives

Unlikely - if you referring to issues with some compacts several years ago :
ZooMed and R-Zilla (now renamed Zilla) have re-formulated their products and have either already replaced, or are in the process of replacing, old stock with the new lamps. These have been designed with safer phosphors which do not emit "non-terrestrial", abnormally short-wavelength UVB radiation. This has been resolved and is no longer an issue from what I've read, if you know otherwise I'll be willing to reconsider once I've seen the reports. I'm using 26W UVB200s for my beardies.
As far as I know T8 and T5 tubes are fine provided they are placed correctly so sufficient UVB reaches the beardie for long enough each day to allow her to metabolise it's dietary calcium to produce sufficient VitD..

If the arm is still being avoided, there is something seriously wrong with it.

You really need to get her to a good reptile vet URGENTLY before a systemic infection takes off , sounds TO ME more like a break than a sprain , or at best dislocation (not go either) , this will not heal without vet intervention likely under a general, in the meantime she's suffering pain.
Speculation without a vet's input is not helping her.

Time to get out the credit card or to hit up a relative for a loan if you are too broke to afford the vet bill. As her keeper/carer/owner, you are obligated to provide proper vetinary care for her even if this is very expensive.

Well I decided to take tiger to the vet today. Vet said I was pretty much doing everything right but tiger somehow started to devolop mbd in her front arms. I'm supposed to give her this concentrate calciI'm liquid 2 times a day. Hopefully she'll get better.

bet you are releaved .... hopefully you've caught it early

Oral dosing with liquid calcium is dead easy to do, Lucky and Wriggles (my injured rescues) loved the taste of the stuff so much they'd lick the little bit of spillage from off my fingers after their calcium doses.

Hello,

Oh that is too bad! It sounds like you caught it pretty early though & she should be fine.
At least she likes the flavor, that will make it easy to give to her.
Let us know how she is doing.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
