So my little buddy seems to have a respiratory infection. He isn't hot, and a couple of times already today he has opened his mouth and has been breathing rather hard. About 2 weeks ago he was doing this and the vet gave him two shots of Amiglyde .05 mL. He has really slowed down within the last couple of days and just wants to take naps. Two weeks ago, he did have mild inflammation around upper part of inside of his mouth/jacobson organ. I haven't noticed any clicking or mucus. Is there anything I can do for him until I take him to the vet ( I would have gotten sooner, but they are booked until Monday). His beard is a little black and he is a little dark. I don't know where this could come from, it has been a little humid out but right now he is in a 40 gallon tank, with a Mega-ray and a basking bulb. Eats crickets, butters, hornworms, silkworms, and veggies, collard greens, mostly squash right now, with fruit thrown in there a couple of times a week. He eats every other day, but his appetite hasn't been quite up to par. He recently got a fecal done in June and had a clean bill of health. Crickets are dusted, and he normally gets outside for a least an hour a day normally if not more. My big question is, is there anything that I can do to make him more comfortable until he can see the vet? I'm a little worried because he is gaping more then he was a couple of weeks ago.
