Possible overheating

So I was taking my baby for a little drive and she was in the car on her own for like 20 minutes tops and it's pretty hott and I came back and she's completely flattened out with her mouth stuck open I'm really scared someone help.. I know she's alive because she's blinking and moving her tongue but I'm so scared

Info she's four months someone please help

Hopefully it's not an actual heat stroke....if it is she can have brain damage. The only thing you can do is cool her off, which I'm sure that you already have. Set her in some cool [ NOT cold ] water for 15 minutes to bring her temp. down. You'll see how she acts over the next day or so, she may be extremely tired, inactive, not eating etc. She may also avoid the heat, so make sure that her cage has a " cool " side that doesn't go above 75 or so. A vet may be able to help her but if there's neurological damage it will almost certainly be irreversible. Hopefully she'll get through this !

Is there anything I can give her I can't lose her this is too hard. I don't think she will make it to the vet but there is one that is 20-30 mins away that can help her.. Am I the worst owner. Should I get her Pedialyte? Should I keep her lights on tonight

Pedialyte will not make much of a difference, but getting her temperature down will. Will she take any fluids orally ? If so, see if she'll drink a bit of water. You say that you don't think she'll make it ? All you can do is try....and if she survives you don't want lights overnight, she'll need to sleep + rest . I hope she makes it !!

I'm sorry.. Bearded dragons and dogs are very different. Bearded dragons are cold blooded desert animals who love the heat!!

I came here for help in a time of panick. I would do anything for my babies and everyone makes mistakes and in this case I learned from mine

Please don't make me feel worse than I already do. Of course I feel bad for my little girl but having other people make me feel worse isn't going to bring her back or change anything.

I thought about what i said and i am sorry for lashing out. I apologize and hope you aren't feeling too bad after the death of your little girl.
But still in the future think before you act with your beardies. A car can get up to 160 degrees in just ten minutes sitting under the sun. And while beardies do love heat, that is way to hot for most animals to withstand, dog or lizard. Unfortunately this was a grave mistake, so i am sorry.
