Possible New Substrate?

When we built our first beardie home we used tile for flooring.. It was great but it was so heavy so i've been doing some research as we are getting a new beardie and building a new home & I wanted to share this and get some feed back.. It's water resistant.. Non toxic.. Lead & latex free.. I've even contemplated also sealing it.. Looks good to me, someone else might know more about it. As long as it's safe I think it would be far better than tile. Tile is just so hard, like walking on a cement floor all day.

I know and soo cold... it made our enclosure so heavy also.. really liking this stuff

Yeah looks good to me too. There are a lot of different patterns available which is nice. Is the surface solid or porous?

I’ve since been informed that since it’s a foam material it tears easily when it comes in contact with their nails

Yeah I can see how that might cause durability issues. It's designed to be used as flooring though so I wonder how long it takes for it to start breaking down. At that price it might be worth some testing. If it comes apart in small bits/crumbs then it could become dangerous if ingested.
