Hi all, I Have had Gannicus for about 6 weeks now. He is 3 months old and has been doing VERY well. That is up until about 3 days ago. I am now worried about a possible impaction, though I am not sure what would have caused it. Here are his tank params:
40g breeder
Paper towel substrate
MVB basking bulb 6 weeks old
24" Reptisun 10.0 6 weeks old about 8 inches from basking spot (inside enclosure)
Basking temps 105-110
cool side 80
Temps taken with temp gun held 2 inches above surface being measured
He is fed a mix of Collard, Mustard, and Turnip greens, bell pepper, zucchini, peas, and green beans - offered at all times
2x a day hes is given either Reptiworms or crickets
Bugs dusted with calcium 5x a week and multivitamin 2x a week
Gets a warm bath daily
He has been eating and pooping like a little monster, but since thurs. (now sun.) he has not been eating anything, seems more lethargic, and has been quite grumpy. He HAS still been pooping but not much. My biggest concern is that I can feel a hard-ish area on his left side that is not present on the right. I bathed him this morning and gave him a nice belly massage and he pooped A LITTLE BIT. but the mass is still there. I just took my other dragon to the vet yesterday for a check-up and cannot afford another visit for about another 2 weeks.
Is there anything else I can do to help him pass this in the next couple of days? Any ideas are GREATLY appreciated. If not I will have to figure out a way to get him to the vet, though I would like to take care of it without her.
