so i got my new bd on sunday =].

He is about 2-3 yrs old and he is about 16-17 inches
He is housed in a 40 g breeder
basking spot is about 96-104.7 degrees depending on time of the day.
No uvb, his mvb (mega-ray)should be coming in on the 6th
I feed him 5 superworms every other day. And every day i feed him collard or mustard greens.

He isint dragging his legs, but this whole week he hasent pooped. He seems normal, active but no poop?

Any advice to make him poop? i have gaven him 3, 10 minute warm baths this week.

Congrats on your new beardie! Sorry he is already worrying you :(
The adult beardies, of course don't poop as often as the younger ones. They can go 2-4 days without a poop. I can see why you would be worried after a week.
You could try giving him a little canned pumpkin(pure; no sugar) or some applesauce(no sugar). This usually gets things going.
Do you know if he was eating supers before you got him? If he is eating them for the first time, his system may be trying to adjust to them.

Yes, you can use a drop of olive oil or gerber applesauce! You may want to let him soak a little longer each day. Good luck, I have a 8 month old male that I brought home on Thursday who still hasn't pooped for me so I'm hoping for poop for both of us! HA :blob5: :blob8:

Try the pumpkin or applesauce mixed with the drop of olive oil or mineral oil.
You don't want Spike brumating with food in his stomach. It can cause worse problems.

Yes, Gerber applesauce is fine. Make sure that he applesauce is quite warm but not hot, put drops on his nose for him to lick off. Gerber squash is fine too but I wouldn't get he corn.

Also, the next time you bathe him, hold him in the palm of your hand and with the other hand, massage gently on the right side from his armpit to vent area, if you feel any hardened lumps, massage gently in a circular motion trying to help move it closer to the vent so he can pass it. Make sure he has at least an hour, preferably 2 hrs of basking time to help him digest.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
