Possible impaction due to eating adult locusts?

Hi my little 2 year old hasn't pooped in close to 7 weeks now her temps are right and uv was only replaced a couple of months ago so should be working well. She's as lively as any beardie is this time of year and responds well when taken out or fed. Her weight hasn't moved much but she's not even trying to poop even in the bath after a dose of applesauce. The only thing I can think is I gave her adult locusts for the first time and maybe they were too big for her although she seemed to chew well. She is small for her age. I'm not too panicky yet as she's gone 5 weeks without pooping before and come through fine but this is dragging on and it does feel like something might be in there but if she was impacted wouldn't she at least be trying to poop? Last time she did this she waited until 5 minutes after I left the vets and pooped in my car so I'm reluctant to go again and waste their time. Any advice would be appreciated. Diet is a mixture of rocket dandelions and curly kale everyday which she tucks into a few times a week and usually 5-6 supers one day a week and as many locusts as she fancies another day usually only 3-4.

A 2 year old should be able to handle locusts, especially if she was able to chew them up. It's less likely to be impaction than what you'd see with a baby dragon. I would offer her drops of water and make sure she is well hydrated. My guess is that she'll pass it eventually. She may be slowing her metabolism down a bit too.

Hi Steve, if she's active she should be pooing a lot more frequently. Sometimes a month will go by but 7 weeks is really a long time. If she's very small adult and the locusts are large you will want to switch to smaller size. Cut back on the superworms as well. Try some natural laxatives like baby food squash, sweet potato, iceberg lettuce and a few drops of olive oil. Give her a warmer than usual bath, a bit deeper too so she has to swim a bit. This can usually cause them to go.

To be fair she's active when I get her out or give her food the rest of the time she just seem to want to sleep. I've never dared fill the bath up quite that much but will give it a go thanks. Can only think it was the locusts it's the only unusual thing she's eaten

My baby bearded dragon has not pooped for 3 days now. He only comes out when feeding and basks later in the day. He seems to be acting the same way as yours.

Edit: He just pooped a ton. He also bled.

3 days isn't much to worry about but bleeding doesn't sound good. Sadly I'm quite new to this so don't know what would cause it but I'm sure someone will have an idea.
On the bright side mine just randomly went unprompted in her viv. Just likes to freak me out!!

It might be worth you starting a new topic saying your beardie bled when she pooped as mine never has but might get a reply

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
