Buddy has been super active the last few weeks. I thought it was from her waking up from brumation in January. Last year, summer, she had her first 3 clutches of eggs. Now I think she is going to do it again. It just seems so early. Last year it was June-August. It's only February!
I noticed the glass dancing first. Then she started pooping her in tank which isn't normal for her. Then it was her pooping twice a day. I thought of her being prego but she didn't have the increased appetite and and poops still had poop lol not just water.
Today she has pooped 3 times. First time with poop. Last two times only urate/water. She's been scratching at her tank, scratching at the walls when I take her out. So I got her sandbox out and ready and she started to dig, then stopped. I tried to feed her since I know it's important to have the calcium but she's not eating. Figures.. another sign of her wanting to lay.
Is it normal for her to already be ready for another clutch, this early in the year?
I know it doesn't really matter the season but I figured it would be the same as last year, summer.
I'm 99% sure she's going to lay. Just need reassurance.
