This is my beardie, his name is Pope Ivan.
Weird, I know. But it fits perfectly with my cat Princess. They're the royal family. The left side is a picture of him right as soon as I got him when he was a baby and the right is just a few days ago. He is now ten months old and twelve and a half inches long. Not sure how many grams but he's a big baby. We fought through a bacterial infection and tail rot already but he's such a fighter and I'm so glad I have him. Every time I wonder if he ever loves me back he cuddles up to me like he knows that I'm wondering. But I just wanted to show you guys how big and healthy he has gotten over the months and how well we are doing now. He's been getting cranky and hormonal because of brumation but other than that we are fantastic.

I also wanted to say thank you to all of you. It is so nice to have a reliable online community that will help me take care of my lizard who I love very much. You guys are all really awesome.
I promise to keep you all updated on his health and other things.
Right now his favorite things are:
1] Soaking up warmth in his new huge hammock under his big warm basking light
2] Eating crickets
3] Eating fruits and vegetables
4] Scratching to get out of his cage, me taking him out, and then him running back to his cage five minutes later just to annoy mommy
5] Laying in his man cave to sleep
6] Seeing his daddy Murphy
7] Pooping in the hardest places for his mommy to clean
8] (Trying and failing) to eat mommy's hair
9] Cuddling in mommy's hair
Lol. He is very stubborn and is his own boss most of the time and won't take no for an answer. He is persistent to the point of annoyance sometimes, but that's why I love him. And I love seeing his personality grow as he grows. He is incredibly smart for a lizard, I had no idea.
