Pooping Habit

My Doc is a strange one, he refuses to poop on tile.

I recently switched him off of sand and onto tiles, though I kept a bit of sand underneath the tiles for insulation and there's a bit of extra space that I couldn't get tile into, so I left it sandy. Now anytime he needs to go, he'll run over to the cooler side of his enclosure, find a patch of sand and let 'er rip. Then he contentedly runs back over to the tile and basks. Anyone else find their beardie doing something similar?

Nope, Jace and Zy poop wherever. I'm am trying to bath train them though.

Both of mine go in the bath.

Tasty Treat was very difficult to train for that b/c she would just go anywhere. then lay in it
now she is doing much better. she now understands that if she doesn't go in her viv it doesn't smell gross.

Mr Dargon, however, hated his poop. He does a glass dance when he has to go, and if no one takes him out he poops as far from his basking area as he can get and scratches frantically until someone cleans it up. he was the easiest to train to go in the bath.

it seems yours is "sand trained" and you can probably make a little dragon toilet with sand in it for him to use.

My Striker does the frantic glass dance, too, if I've been sleeping in or gone out when she does her biz. Otherwise, she's pretty much bath trained. Can't figure out how to train Eri to go in the bath, though, since Striker just started doing it on her own one day.

Spike goes at least 2-3 times a day and never in the bath.
Usually in the morning after his salad but before his
protien he will go, then around noon, and sometimes he will
go again before lights out

sometimes Mr Dargon will go every day. but he mostly goes every 2-3 days, and he will wait until he gets a bath.
