Hi, I'm new here, just an old hippie that loves his new beardies. I have two, a male and female that are brother and sister, 11 months old now, named Fred and Ethel Mertz. They have so much personailty, it's hard to believe they are not human, sometimes. They were 8 months old when we got them, they live very happily together (yes, i know what THEY say) and they are definitely bonded as a couple. They share a 55 gallon aquarium tank. They eat about 5 or six crickets a day, large ones, fish bait size. They also enjoy mid sized meal worms too. They have their daily salad and assorted greens and they love green peas, corn, apple, and an ocassional juvenile food pellet soaked in cranberry juice.
When we first got them, they were about 10 or 11 inches long, maybe 12, but they are about an inch or two longer now. My question is, it seems that everytime they poop, EVERYDAY, it gets bigger everyday. Now it is almost the size of my little finger. It has dawned on me that if they are going to get 20 to 24 inches long, their poop is going to get much much bigger and it really worries me about getting ti out and disposing of it.
How does everyone else handle the poop?
