So recently iv been feeding my beardie more greens then bugs and I gave him a bath today and he pooped and it looked like mainly plant debre and like 90% digested greens. Am I feeding him too much greens or is this normal for a beardie that eats lots of greens? Usually his stool is normal blackish brown with the white but this time it was different looking. I was jus wounderin if that's normal. He basks under uv alot and his heat lamp and temps r good n normal other then I need to replace the uv light as its starting to not be as bright but still looking good. Any feedback would be great.

Also the greens r mustard greens and kale all organic stuff..not the normal field grown if im correct

IDK about the feces, srry... Id personally just keep an eye on it and if over a few days he keeps having BMs like that then Id take a sample to a vet for fecal testing. But I imagine its probably due to the diet change, Think about when u change a dogs diet, it tears their stomachs up for a few days...Also Id double check the temps (with a probe or infrared thermometer) and make sure they are in the right range, since u mentioned it didnt look all the way digested. Kale should not be fed as a staple green. Kale contains a high level of a chemical that binds to calcium. It should be used occasionally at most. Dandelion greens, collard greens, mustard greens, turnip greens, escarole, or endive are better choices for staple greens.

You may want to allow for extra basking time after he eats, and increase the temp a teensy bit, until his digestive system gets used to the extra ruffage.
Also try to cut the greens pieces smaller so they'd be more easily digestible.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
