George Morgan is 5 1/2 months old. He is almost 15 inches long and 198 grams. He is being treated for hookworms and coccidia. He has completed a 3 dose prescription on panacur for the hookworms - taken Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. He also took Albon for the coccidia on those days as well as today (Sunday). He has 2 doses of Albon left to be taken Tuesday and Thursday. He has taken Acidophiliz+ one day before treatment and everyday since. He has had daily soaks since starting the medicine. I have bleached everything in his cage and steam cleaned it.
Now for the question. His poop is very watery - It has been for a while now. It has this orange/pink tinge near the urates? What is this from? See how the paper towels are wrinkled - that is because they are soaking wet.
How often should I steam clean his tank? Does washing his stuffed animal and swaddling blankets in hot water with added bleach get rid of everything bad? Last thing - how long after the Albon treatment is over do I need to have another fecal exam done?
