Poop issues

This may be long but it’s definitely going to take some explaining. So for awhile from December to March Spike was acting very unsettled. She is about a year and a half old and March 3rd she laid her first infertile clutch of eggs.(22-24 eggs) She finally settled down after that and about 3 1/2 weeks later she started to act unsettled again, running around and glass surfing. Within a couple of days of that activity again she laid a second clutch of 36 eggs! From that 2nd clutch about a month later this is the first time she has pooped.(Which happened in the middle of the night and thankfully I was awake to see that she pooped and laid in it to go back to sleep) She’s been eating fine and acting her normal self in between the time of the second clutch and her poop. When I tell you when I saw how massive it was I honestly got worried. It was half the width of her body and about 4-5inches long! It’s hard to explain what kind of poo it was... it was runny but firm, the usual urate and there was a little mucus in it. Now to go back before and after she had laid her first clutch I took her to the vet got x-rays to make sure she wasn’t eggbound etc. The vet said she was in perfect health. I’m not sure if I should be worried about this, and getting her into the vet right now would be extremely difficult because of the Virus. I should also mention for about 2 weeks during this no pooping spree they ran out of her favorite greens from the store so I was substituting them with new fruit and veggies that she would eat, she’s very picky so it was a lot of trial and error. Any help would be greatly appreciate and if you took the time to read this I sincerely thank you!

Well this is one of the only places devoted to pets where this subject is discussed so frequently and with such detail. This is really part of the normal G.I. tract activity, they may not poo for a while and then produce something that looks unrealistically large. But we've all seen it, it's perfectly normal.

And just to add on to what AHBD said and to ease your mind, it really isn't uncommon for adults to go awhile inbetween poos. sometimes weeks. And the longer it goes, the bigger it will be.

I can't help but post this, so sorry but poop picture incoming, you've been warned.

My Tombo is healthy as a horse too, but occasionally he goes a week or two inbetween poos. And he let this monstrosity out a few months ago.
Besides him refusing to go anywhere near it until I cleaned it up, he was perfectly fine haha.

But with all that egg laying, make sure she is eating good! Takes a lot out of them to produce that many eggs.

Hello,

Oh her behavior is completely normal after laying eggs & so is her stool, also.
Yeah, we have all seen some unusually large stools, too. If she seemed to have any
trouble going potty you could add some unsweetened applesauce or canned pumpkin to
help out her hydration status.
Is she getting enough calcium now after laying her eggs?

Let us know how she is doing.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
