Poo

I haven't been on for a while but a little worried about my Zeus
For about a week and a half now, his poos have been unusual
I was feeding him crickets and changed it to hoppers for a while and back to crickets due to shop having no hoppers left since he had crickets for only the 2 days ( back on hoppers) his poos have been every other day and not solid and he's gone off his salad which he use to love!
He was also starting to she'd around this time so I know he gets a little stressed during this time
Temp- 105
Cool temp 75
Repisun 10.0 and is 4 months old
Cali - 4 times a week and multi - 2 times a week
And I have noticed when I take him out his viv he always poos when am holding him

Any advice would be great please x

Well, it could just be the change in diet. It could also be parasites, which would require a vet visit. Pooing out the cage is normal - a lot of beardies HATE having poop in the viv!

Thanks for gettin back to me, I thought the same
Goin to give it a few more days to see if his poo goes back to normal
Could him shedding again cause stress and his poo being weird?

I would get a fecal done just in case.

Hi Mumtozeus,
I have a 6 1/2 month and got him at 4 months - I have to tell you that I've already noticed a pattern when he is getting ready to shed his head and body (tail and legs come couple weeks after that). For the few days right before, he acts mopey, goes into his hide earlier at night and his once a day poo is loose. Not diarrhea and still the right color with urate, but more of a loose pile. By two days after shedding his body, they go back to normal. I am sure that it's from the stress of shedding. It kind of reminds me of when my daughter would be getting ready to cut a new tooth - her bowel movements would be loose and she'd be fussy....then after the tooth was out, she'd be great. I think it is stress on the body. It is a good idea to get a fecal check though, if he's never had one.

haha i was thinking this becasue he has shed his head and most of his legs, now his tail is going,
he is the exactly the same as your lil man/girl

he was like this last time he shed
