Hey everyone! It's been awhile since I've been to this forum. Loki has until recently been in brumation since early December.

He is now awake, alert and hungry! The problem is... Loki has not pooped since early December!

I have been bathing him daily since he emerged from his log, but no results. I'm getting concerned.

Any advice? I don't want to take him to the vet unless I really feel it is necessary.

Hello,

Well, no worries at the moment, since he has been in brumation for awhile. His system is still a little slown down but as soon as he begins metabolizing the food & he gets more hydrated his body should start processing things better.
Maybe try giving him some oral fluids daily to help him out with hydration.

Yea!!! He finally went poo in his bath this afternoon!

I feel a lot better now...and I think Loki must feel better too!

I took him out of the bath, put him on my bedroom floor, and he started running around like he felt 10 pounds lighter. When I put him back in his tank, he started head-bobbing at pretty much nothing... feeling frisky, I guess.

I'm glad to have my beardie back! :blob5: :blob5: :blob5:

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
