So, I took Pogo to the herp vet. Vet said that my set up was good and Pogo had a strong heartbeat, was alert and active, and healthy looking - he looked at Pogo's little organs by shining a doc light through her back and armpits in the dark and showed me the heartbeat! They did a fecal and it came back negative.

Little pooper will still only eat Carnivore Care mixed with baby food squash. Turns her nose up at all "real" food. Vet said just keep offering it, and try Phoenix Worms and see if she is just being picky. Worms should arrive later this week.

She shed a good part of her tail today, and was doing this weird puff up her chest and beard thing - she didn't do it at us or any particular thing, just randomly a few times in a row here and there. But she certainly has energy - I let her run around the room today for a couple of minutes (like a psycho!).

:D

I'm glad to hear that everything looked good at her check up, and it's good that she has a lot of energy. She sounds like a little character....I think she'll start eating her real food if you serve it on a silver platter.

I am telling you . . . I would try it except silver might have some left over tarnish cleaning residue on it or scare her with the reflection. But Australia has lots of silver . . . so maybe she royal lizard blood in her lineage. . . :) :) :)

As long as she stays healthy eating the Carnivore Care/baby food mix, I will keep it up. I am really starting to picture myself bottle feeding a geriatric lizard years from now. I will have to start making collard green, mustard green, squash baby food at home :)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
