Ok I got Dino's new cage and I was so excited but she doesnt seem to be. I havent put a picture on here because I am still looking for a stand or dresser big enough to put it on so she is on the floor right now. The camera wont get the whole cage with a clear pic. Anyways, she has stoped eating! She hasnt ate for a week. Nothing! Nada! I have gave her baby food and blended crickets greens and lil water that the vet told me to do but she wont eat it from surrenge only if i put it on her mouth then she will lick a little at a time. She doesn't ever want to bask she always wants to hide and sleep. Also her foot and leg is discolored I freaked out and took her to vet right away. She was a little under weight which I expected from her not eating. But the vet said she looks great has great colors and it just looks like her leg is a little discolored. And sent us on our way. She was to little for them to do a fecal and Dino hasn't pooped for days! I have been soaking her every other day and leave water in her cage. Could all of this be from change of cages?? Her skin is saggy because she is so skinny its sad she was 114 g and she is 5 months old! Her lighting is 100 watt basking light and tube uvb repti 8.0 should I get a different uvb light since she is in a bigger cage? Anyone please help...

also my florescent bulb is 18 inch and my new cage is like equal to 58 gallons should it cover the whole cage or just where her basking spot as long as its 8-10 inches away or does that matter ? At what age do they start trying to go into brumation?

You may want to get a MVB (Mercury Vapor Bulb). It emits HEAT, UVB, and UVA that's essesial to beardies. You can find one at petmountain.com for cheap. Known good ones are T-Rex and PowerSun UV 100WATT. This bulb will replace both of your lights, your strip light and your current basking bulb.

The best MVB's are Megaray and T-Rex. A 100 watt of either should be fine because they both throw off lots of heat. If you got a 160 watt and it got too hot, you would be stuck. Another thing to keep in mind is that a 100 watt MVB needs to be a minium of 12" from your beardie and a 160 watt needs to be a minimum of 18" from him.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
