Please help

We are new bearded dragon owners, we moved him in to his new viv last week and he has not yet pooed or had a wee he is only eating one or two bugs a day and seems very scared off us,what can we do to help him along and how long will it take for him to get used to us, he has no interest in us at all. Your help will be much appreciated Carl and kirsty

Really the best way to get him use to you is just touching him little bits at a time. Put him in warm water bout up to his arm pits and that helps to get the poo flowing. What is your set up like? Temps? Uvb? etc

We think the temp was wrong as he seems to be more active now it has gone up, he has been in his water for the first time so we are going to see how it goes, thanks for your advise will let you know if there
Is no improvement. Only other worry is that he doesn't seem that interested in his food but was a little pig in the pet shop!

The temps bring better should help with his eating to.

Relocation stress can last a while so don't panic. Just keep talking to him everyday and offering him food, he'll come around.

Well, we have excellent news - Sullie has done a poo (although a little white we think it's because he's not been for a week!) and he ate nearly out of my hand yesterday and let me touch him!! I can't believe just heating him up a little more has helped so much! We have purchased a ceramic heat bulb which should arrive this week and so won't have to leave his bulb on at night so he can get some sleep - bless! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYONE'S ADVICE - YOU ARE FAB!!!
