Please help Skooter

I noticed the last 2 nights Skooter has been sleeping with her head against the wall of her cage so that its straight up and down. When I got home from work today She was completely lethargic and laid down flat on the ground...she never lays down flat so I picked her up immediately. She wouldnt open her eyes and she was black bearded with her beard puffed out. She felt pretty stiff but she did wiggle just a bit in my hand. I called an emergency vet and they said to come in but they are an hour away and its 2 degrees outside! Would I be putting her at even more risk to take her out in this cold?? She has had health problems since we got her and she never grew longer than 7 inches but the last time she was at the vets they gave her a clean bill of health. This all came on so sudden. I dont know what could be wrong?! An yhelp or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Right now she is laying on her basking log not moving at all. She is limp when I pick her up and her mouth is open just a little bit and she wont close it. I hope she hasnt passed away

So sorry that Skooter is not doing well.
If it were me, I would go to the vet. Do you have any hand warmers or a rice sock or something? Maybe a cat carrier?
When I have to take mine to the vet when it is cold, I put them in a cat carrier with a blanket or towel and a hand warmer, and run the heat in my vehicle.
Hope that Skooter is ok. Please keep us updated.

I usually just put mine on top of my tshirt then put on a sweater and a jacket.

Thank you for your replies but im afraid its too late. My poor baby girl passed away. My heart is broken. I just pray she didnt suffer in any way.

I'm sooo sorry she died. I know how you are hurting. You will remember her fondly in time.
