Okay, my bearded dragon is a juvenile (3 1/2 months) and he's started acting odd. This all started three days ago. I was low on crikets but couldn't buy any until yesterday, so I had to feed him less for those two days until I could give him more crickets. He had lost a small bit of weight in this time period. Then, the day I went to get him crickets, the trip was delayed and I didn't get home until 4:30 pm. I fed him as much as he'd eat (collards, crickets, zuccini) and he immediately was plump and happy. He hopped onto his basking spot, and started gaping (the good kind). After that, I picked him up and held him for a good thirty minutes, then put him back into his cage on the basking spot. He stayed exactly where I put him, never looking at me. This was very out-of-character for him, seeing as he usually crawls off his basking spot and goes to the glass whenever I call his name. I thought it might be that he was full, or something along those lines. I picked him up again, he acted normal. Then, I put him in his cage and turned off the light (it was his bedtime). This morning, I woke up at 8:00 and he woke up as well. But, instead of getting up, he just sat where he was and didn't move. It might've been he was sleepy, because when I held him he was happy, and fell asleep on me for an hour. Then, when I put him back, he started basking and is once again uncharacteristicly ignoring me. His back legs seem fine, but he hasn't pooped yet (then again, he usually doesn't poop until 11-12:30. Why is he acting this way? I know it may be normal for some beardies, but he used to climb off hid basking spot and look at me happily every day. Now he won't...
EDIT: Gave him three crickets. He won't even look at them. He's just...sitting. Not moving. But he's alive. Please help!
EDIT EDIT: Turned up his bulb to see if that's what he wanted. He cocked his head once, so I opened the tank to see if I could get him to look at me. He did, then moved around like normal. The second I closed the cage lid he froze. He won't move unless I open up the cage?
EDT EDIT EDIT: Last edit. I opened the cage again and he leapt into my hand, licked me, and is acting normal. He's scared of something in his cage, and I think it may be the new digital thermometer.
