They're both very cute ! Good that you're getting them out in the sun, too. I don't see any bumps....you mean that they look a bit swollen to you ? If he's walking fine then he's getting better. Just give it time.
The legs are not swollen at the joints too bad. At least he gets around really well, too.
When they have metabolic bone disease, it just takes time for them to heal up. Reptiles heal up slowly so just be patient with him. It sounds like he is doing pretty well!
Hello everyone today is the worst day of my life at 450 I took my beardie in to be euthanized the mbd got worse his bones got really frail and one leg turned a white color and was not moveable it was not a shed it was just white like if no blood was there I'm going to pick him up tomorrow the people said it takes a while for the mediication to make them fall asleep takes a long time so I'm picking him up tomorrow to bury him here in my back yard with all the items he had so he has some stuff in heaven to climb on thank you everyone so much for your help I wish we could've saved this one RIP Beardie hope you have fun up there lititle one love ya
You know what he ate 5 small crickets today and his poops were noral but he couldn't move anymore everytime he tried he looked like he was in pain his arms and legs were so fragile and sweled up and one of his legs was white and just not moving at all he struggled to keep his head up he would sometimes have it up but most of the time no he was hiding a lot. Yesterday he flipped over and his beard was black and I flipped him over and took him out and tried to calm him down which he did but today he flipped and he didn't try to flip himself overy again I took him to Chicagoexotic pet hospital last week and she gave me new mess and said give it 2 weeks but like. I said thats what the other vet said and no improvement so I made the choice to put him down so he wouldn't need to suffer anymore it's just hard becausing he was eating and drinking but it's like he had bad bad hours and good hours ugh I don't know if I made the right choice if maybe I should've waited or if I did make the right choice I just didn't want him to suffer all he dI'd was hide and jeep his head down and have stress marks all over his body ugh I miss my little guy
I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
