I got Novy a week ago from Petco, they said she's (or he, not sure yet) is about 2 months. She's almost 7 inches long. I purchased juvenile pellets like they recommended and she didn't touch a single one. I left some finely chopped carrots and collard greens with dried crickets in for her and she didn't eat those either. On day 4 I tried small super worms and she ate about 9 in total by day 5 plus some medium sized crickets we got from the pet store (that's all they had) Since then I have noticed these lumps on the side of her stomach. Is this normal? All I could think of is impaction but she's pooped 3 times since I've had her and I've read that they don't poop everyday. Or could the food possibly be too big and be stuck??

I should add, I just felt the sides of his stomach and it feels as if they are worms. Is that possible? After feeding her super worms I read that it was bad to do and I definitely won't ever again. Is it normal to be feeling that or should I be concerned??

No, that's the ribcage area and sometimes they stick out a bit but it's harmless.

You can tell I'm new at this. Thank you! I was so worried. Do you know anything about super worms?? Are they okay to feed or should I stock to other works & smaller crickets?

Superworms are not a good feeder for small dragons, they can cause impaction. Stick with smallish crickets [ no longer than the space between his eyes ] bsfl [ like repti worms or calci worms ] and dubia roaches. Avoid freeze dried bugs. Ordering online in bulk will save you a TON of money. Go to the feeder insect forum and ask where other people get their bugs. I order crickets from www.greatlakeshornworm.com. They have great service + the bugs always arrive in good shape. I order superworms for my adult dragons from the same place.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
