please help keeping eyes closed

my one dragon buddy will not open his eyes only every once in a while if his eyes are open when i put dubias he will eat them. hes no where near as active as he was 2 days ago.
he will randomly start srcatching the glass like he wants out.

heres my setup
40 gallon tank
basking 98f
cool side 78f
uvb rzilla tube i know its not the best brand but i have other dragons doing very well on these and he was for 5 months
tile as the substrate
diet is about 40 dubia 3/4" a day and collard greens
regular dusting with calcium
and he poops everyday
baths every other day
and hes 14" and 125 grams
and now as im typeing this he seems normal and eating his greens heres a pic

Hello,

Please turn the Zilla UVB light off. These lights are very hazardous & emit low wavelength UVB frequency, borderline UVC.
What type of basking light are you using? A bright white light?
For now, just use a basking light without any UVB until his eyes heal up & he starts keeping them open all of the time.
The Reptisun 10 or the Arcadia D3 12% tube bulbs are the better choices.

Yeah.. those lights are bad juju. He will be much better off on the ones Drache suggested, turn it off and he should hopefully improve.

Hes beatiful by the way! Keep us updated on how he is going.

thank you both!!! yes he is eating good i have to move him to get him to open his eyes so he will see the food but once he see it he eats it all. hong long is okay without uvb because i dont get paid till thursday? i started using calcium with d3 today instead of normal calcium because no light is this okay? and his basking light is a soft white bulb.

I forgot to mention that he has beautiful colors, also. How is he doing today?
That is great you were able to order a Reptisun 10 tube bulb. It will be much better for him.
The calcium with D3 is fine, for him right now. Once he is recovered to where you can put the new bulb over him he should really start to do a lot better for you.
Poor guy, I hope you are able to get him to eat some for you today.

thank you he does have very nice colors
eyes are still closed he ate about 35 dubia so his appetite is still there just not as much .

Great, I am glad that they love their calcium, it makes it easy to get it to them.
Hopefully with the better light, his appetite will come back fully for you. At least he still ate some though.

okay update eyes are open all day and hes eating like theres no tomorrow lol. and hes back to running everywhere and not sitting still.
