It turns out the right vet was not here when I came. The specialist was gone and she is back today. So I complained and they waived my visit fee. But he has hook worms. They said he has alot. And to. Give him panacur again in 6 days for 3 more days. And do it every 7 days for two weeks.
If he has a high amount of hookworms then he may need the meds, but since he looked worse last time you gave him meds. I would be leery of whether he really should be given the dose they were giving him. I really don't know what to tell you.
I have not tried soy yogurt I have been giving him powdered non dairy probiotics instead and I mix it with his carnivore Care Powder in a little bit of calcium and a little bit of Blended veggies they told me to feed him half the amount I was feeding him but to do it 6 times a day instead of 3 times a day so that way I don't stress them out too much they said that all reptiles have hookworms but when they get to a larger extent is when they are actually starting to affect him negatively so she said to do the panacur and come back in 2 weeks so we can check out another stool sample I looked at another hookworm thread on here on this page and it looks like the vet had told that lady the same thing to do the panacur 4 three weeks every other seven days for three days and then stop and come in for another stool sample
That sounds reasonable. I mentioned the soy yogurt because some dragons like it enough that if you put it on their insects he might eat them. Have you fed him any superworms ?
If his tail falls of, just buy raw honey to put on it. (I know what you are thinking. "RAW HONEY!?!? Why would you put raw honey on the tip of a tail!?!?") But, it does help with the healing, and it might save you some money  :laughing6:
