Please help! Is this tail or scale rot?

Hi, I just got my bearded dragon five days ago and everything has been going fine until today. I just realized an unusual black/black dot on my beardies tail. It has me really suspicious. I need help ASAP and I'm hoping on some help and if this is actually a rotten mark or just some coloration. Also Rex has been shedding and I'm concerned if its ok if his skin still comes off with his pattern on it.

It is perfectly normal for your dragon's pattern to be on their shed, no worries to be had there c:

As for the questionable spot, it would be best to post a picture of it, if possible That way, it would be easier to tell what it is.

Thank you so much for answering so quickly. And also thank you for the shedding thing. He was shedding quite a lot and I was concerned. Also I will post a picture as soon as I figure out how.

Wait never mind. Turns out it was just some mark on his shedding skin. I gave Rex a bath and all that skin came right off. I did research on those dots and apparently it was part of his shedding. Thank you so much though.
