Please help!!!! Beardie not eating!

Ok i have a 8 month old bearded dragon....and he eats a good amount of crickets a day.....and some one said to let him try a wax worm...so i ordered some offline....i fed him 2 and he loved them........note i did this after he was done eating crickets....well this morning when i walked into the reptile room...they werte in his tanks...in a line.....so i dont know if he threw them up....or he wasnt able to fully digest them.....they were realy smushed together though...anyone know if this is normal? should i stop feeding him?

I have heard that some beardies will poop out whole reptiworms (similar feel to waxworms but different composition) but that it's really just the shell of the worm. Did you see poop next to the worms or was it just the worms?

Yes there was poops it was all in a straight line sorta

What is your basking temp? When you cleaned the poo did you try to squish the worms to see if they were whole or just shells?

Basking temp is about 103 and the cool side is about 82 and they were like kinda hard.....

If a beardie isn't hydrated enough, it can make them feel a bit icky and cause digestion and appetite issues. Regular baths and oral fluids from an eyedropper or needle-less syringe are the way to go for hydration. They don't absorb water through their skin, which means spraying doesn't work to keep their insides hydrated

Baths every other day....should they be every day?

No every other day should be enough. Was the poop fresh when you cleaned it? Is your beardie eating normally other than the waxworms? What are you using to measure your temps?

The poop wasn't fresh no....it was dried up....I measure with a laser one i got at Walmart.....the temp in basking is from 103-106 and the cool side was 80-85

Ahh if you feed waxworms again, and you notice him pooping out whole worms, poke at the worms a bit to see if they're completely undigested or just the exoskeletons.

Yes he eats about 25-35 crickets per feedin and he has 3 a day
