Please help:beardie not eating well after surgery

In February my beardie had to have surgery to remove eggs that wouldn’t come out. She came through surgery well. Doctor advised me to allow her to rest for several days and only feed her if she wanted something. She’s never been a vegetable eater. At 1 1/2 old, I expected her to pick up on her veggie intake; she never has. Now she’s not eating anything but one superworm a day, and some days not even that! She had been eating dubias and crickets with the occasional wax worm. Plus her superworms. Whatever worms she does eat has either vitamins or calcium on it. She’s under a uva/uvb bulb, plus a deep blue light to keep her warmer at night. I bathe her every other day to prevent dehydration. If she poops, this is where she does it. She doesn’t seem to be loosing any weight, but my scale is acting up, so I’m not 100% on that. Her last fecal scan was clear and her droppings look fine.WHAT’S WRONG WITH HER??? She’s not very active, but will crawl around on the floor in the mornings after/if she eats. I’ve started to carry her around with me more just so she’s out of her terrarium for awhile and with me more. I’m truly at my wits end, and at this point after more clear X-rays and negative fecal scan, so is my vet. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

Hi. I would give her probiotics mixed with some stage one baby food. If they have her antibiotics that can cause the good but Gloria to be wiped out. Hence the upset stomach.

Hi! She’s not on any antibiotics. Hasn’t been since the surgery back in February. Could after ettects from antibiotics still be prevalent 3 months later? I’m willing to try anything though! Thanks!

Have you tried hand feeding ?
see this for how - viewtopic.php?f=18&t=235583

Failing that (refused to take food given by hand, even with some gentle coaxing), make his food into purees and give via a feeding syringe & large (8G) crop / feeding needle , see this for more information and links that show the procedure applicable for a lizard - viewtopic.php?f=45&t=232687

Good luck, hope your dragon recovers it's appetite soon and can be back it's old self in short order.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
