Hello,

Great, she looks very good! :D
How did your first medication treatment go today?
So she doesn't like her baths then, not all do!
I hope she is feeling better soon! It looks like her tail is going to shed, too.
Very nice pictures & video! Thanks!
Did she like the baby food?

Hi again!
To be honest, I have not yet started with the meds.
I was thinking about waiting until the acidohpiliz (I spell it differently every time now don't I haha) as well as the Reptaid and give this simultaneously to her (with the reptaid or perhaps the meds in reduced amount comparing to if she would be treated with one of them solely)...
I have now finally installed a fully functional ceramic heat emitter with a basic thermostat to keep night temps at around 78 F
In fact, I have everything I need to her now:
Reptisun 10.0, ceramic heat emitter, steam cleaner and temp gun :D
One of few people with a lot of money to spend...
will let you know how it goes as soon as I have started to give her the stuff - hopefully tomorrow.

Her appetite as of today and previous few days is excellent - like in video or better - but refuses greens :(
I gave her some electrolyte-similar powder with water and little bits of olive oil as she was dehydrated without water in her tank and has not pooped the many crickets she munched on during the last 3 days

YAY
Finally I got delivery of Reptaid and Acidophiliz+ ! Going to start everything off tomorrow... Could not be more prepared. Will actually take photos every day to see progress, and weigh her as well.

Also 25 fat butterworms crawling on my work desk (in a box) at the moment haha! :D

Hi!
ahhh going crazy with this "Temporarily offline" now :D
Today I started with the meds, went better than expected.
She got 0.5 ml of the meds as prescribed (Mixed it with water and some Canadian Maple syrup hah! went down fine), and about 0.15 ml of reptaid .. about 1 ml of distilled water+1/4th apple juice+dehydration powder. + 1ml of acidophiliz+

POO (If you dare to take a peek) http://img522.imageshack.us/i/p1170644.jpg/

I know there is a max limit of how much you should give them in liquid, so I am worried about that it could be too much with everything in the evenings?
I have not tried babyfood yet, perhaps tomorrow if she does not eat the crickets.

Her eyes look very bad I must say, I hope it will get better. Her poop - very parasite infested indeed. She did not poop for 4 days so huge one haha.

I got the laser thermometer today and WOW perfect temps everywhere...

The only questions I really have now is; Regarding keeping her hydrated:
1) Bathing does not actually keep her hydrated, now does it?
2) How much can I give of pure liquid (Acidophiliz+ as well as my mix with Water+1/4th apple juice+Dehydration powder PER DAY ?
:D

You have been so helpful!!

Great news! She seems to be doing better already! Only 2nd day yet out of 10+10 days on reptaid...
She ate around 15 crickets and I loaded the very first morning crickets with reptaid, so it went down fine, so to say :D
No need for pics, you cannot notice much difference - colors are better than ever though!
:)

Hey again!
She is for sure doing much much better, and everything with her seems so much better. She is eating like a monster, but still stops after around 20 crickets - I believe that her belly is not used to more or something, to be honest.
Weight yesterday, after big poo, was 228 G, so at least she is gaining a bit now! :D
She is 13 1/2 inch long and has shedded everywhere except itsy bitsy part of the tail.

Do you really think I need the 3rd dose of Panacur ?
(I have given her .5ml once, every 7 days as instructed by Tracie )

Only one single concern right now... These very strange marks turned up on the head, first slowly turning white-ish and now totally white/gray. It looks like the pigments are simply gone...? I have checked if it is old shed, but I am 98% sure it is not. Will try to brush it with a soft toothbrush and water tomorrow.
What do you think?

Hello,

Oh that will be an upcoming shed, definitely!
How are things coming along now, is the acidophiliz helping a lot I hope?
No, I don't think she needs the 3rd dose of the Panacur especially if she is doing so well right now. It sounds like she is eating a lot right now, & is active too!
I am happy to hear she is gaining some weight now also! :blob8:

She is doing fine, constantly dehydrated more or less and I am giving her OVER 4 ML of liquid every single day! Amazing but true..
Although, I am not totally sure how much the acidophiliz+ is helping here, since temperatures in the night actually is not close to 28C/80F but more or less around 22C/72F unfortunately. I have a home made reflector and trying to cover the top, but I guess it is just not possible to do this much warmer than to either 1) warm up the whole room .2) get a stronger ceramic heater (75 W does not do anything basically) or 3) move her in to the new wooden terrarium, which I think might be a good idea after all - should isolate quite well and keep the temps better...

See the feces, not looking very good - looks like it is not digested properly and in other words are the 2 - or so ML of acidophiliz+ not helping very much.. ? I am following the schedule quite strict of : Meds in the morning, wait 6 hours, acidophiliz+ and some electrolyte along with a bath and more crix...

150 G and moving on!!
She is way happier, very active and just another lizard now :)
Question:
Reptiaid+med session is over very soon now, will take a new fecal asap - I read acidophiliz+ should be given well over 1 week after treatment ended.... Can I do it in the morning together with crickets then? Would fit me so much better with work!

Soon moving apartment and therefore, moving her in to the new wooden terrarium (one of these: http://cjpetmart.com.au/images/ecotechhabitat.gif )
Thanks!
And Tracy, ur the "man"! (thanks!) :D

Hi again!
She is definetely fine, except one thing.
All tests came back negative!

I moved 2 weeks ago to a totally new place, and a few days before this (2.5 week ago) I changed to a wooden terrarium. First she ate pretty good including fruit for the first time in months...

Now she is not eating barely anything again. I think it might be just stress, I cannot figure out anything else at all. She is scratching the window in the morning, real cute, and then I remove the towel (which I put there to keep light out in evenings from roof) she stops scratching the windows. I think it might be a he actually - anywho, I read this has many many possible causes including too hot, hungry or just attention such as in the "puberty".

When I try to feed her, she seems quite a lot more reserved and scared than normal...
Is it just stress you think? Still relocation stress?
Temperatures are nearly perfect, and I am barely home all day, terrarium in bedroom so when I am home, I am not passing by very much. Before she used to be in a room where I never went in to, and thus was totally undisturbed I would say.

I bought some roaches which she loved the few first days and I also have (very small) crickets which she will not touch...

She has a hide and I have not made too many changes to the deco... She is active, seem happy and nothing special except not eating very well. Eyes are STILL hanging quite some, but I doubt very much she is dehydrated.
I am giving her water by syringe still, wondering though - How can I exchange this so I do not need to force in liquid in her, a water bowl will do?
Any clues at all?

Thanks !
/Dennis and Hope (which, anyhow, might be a little boy)
Regards, The Swedish Alchemist and baby beardie Hope! :D

OH:
EDIT:
She is not hunting for food at all, I hate that I need to wave the food in front of her in order for her to eat... She was hunting food for the first time during the end of the treatment with meds but now recently stopped .. again.

Hi again!
Just to let you know, my dragon is doing awesome and happier than ever...
Last fecal checked, all totally clean!

I have her on plain print paper, and just remove it whenever she takes a dump. It is very easy to keep clean and looks alright after all. She mostly takes a dump outside the terrarium though, after running around a bit. When she moves a bit I guess it "loses up" hahha.

Now to my slight concern; Can someone please advice what in the world have made the poo go from solid to liquid-mixed-with-solid poop... Any clues at all? It has been like this now for a month and I cannot see any reasonable explanation really... Pls ask me all questions which might be related ..

Pics below of how it looks:

Hello!

Did you change her diet at all? The stool itself is solid, along with the urate, but there is a lot of liquid. Is she drinking a lot of water right now? What greens & feeders does she eat?

She is very pretty, & looks healthy overall.

She is eating much more greens than ever before, so diet has changed yes.
With Greens I mean above all 1. mango and 2. butternut squash.
she really loves these ones and ocassionally get something else like rucola, tiny bit of peeled apple, endive ... but she is a true Mango girl
Since there are a lot of urates, I guess it could simply be extra liquid not processed by the system ...?

Anyway, she is turning 1 year old now in a few days and she is getting veggies/fruit every day and every 3rd day only veggies / fruit to get used to it... She usually eats all what I give her, so thats great too!

When I take her out to run around, she usually "freezes" and doesnt move at all. Looks a lot like she is too nervous. She wasnt like that when she was in the old apartment / younger, so I find it really strange. This new apartment is much brighter and warmer.. many thanks

Hello,

You could decrease her fruit to just a few times per week. The sugar can cause runnier stools which might be occuring. So you could try that to see if it makes a little bit of difference. At least she is well hydrated, or appears to be anyway.
It sounds like she is doing well, overall though! Her appetite sounds great also.
Maybe she is not used to your new place quite yet. Sometimes it takes an adjustment when you move to get used to the new surroundings.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
