Playing outside cage

Will you all give me some ideas on how you play with your adult beardies?
It is still too cold here to go outside. When it's warm enough we go outside with them on a leash. They seemed scared most of the time. I don't know if they enjoy it at all.
For inside, do you just let them climb all over the furniture?

Yes, outside is/can be very scary for an animal one step above the bottom of the food chain. Aside from the bugs/worms they eat, most everything else in their natural habitat wants to eat them (views them as prey).

Outside, they'd be safer/more comfortable in something like this, with a screened top.

Indoors, some people let their dragons free-range; others prefer an indoor pet playpen similar to this.

As far as how to play with them... they're not exactly like (as smart as) a puppy or kitten; I'm not sure they'd even grasp the concept of play. But you could try just about anything; a cat toy (ball with a bell), ping-pong ball(?), bug/worm on a stick... With some perseverance, you might even be able to train them to something like a trick with the right methods & incentive (big fat juicy worm). :laughing6:
