plastic toys......?

I'm working on remodeling Dino's cage because i am about to transfer him ot his permanent home. I'm using a theme and was planning on putting a hard plastic toy in the cage... I'm wondering if you think the plastic toy would melt under the 105 degree heat lamp all day? I stuck it i his current cage for about 30 minutes and it was fairly warm when i took it out... anyone know if it would melt?

I can't be of any help, but you pose an interesting question. So, free bump for you

The melting point of plastic is much higher. 105° would not melt it. There might be some warping, but even that is a huge maybe.

Plastic will outgas when heated. I would try and avoid putting plastic items under the heat lamp, as it could outgas some fumes....which may or may bother your beardy.
