Pinworms....

Mer, I took my beardie to the vet today and found out he has pinworms (he has disgusting poop and has been going like, twice a day). At least I have medicine now! How contagious are they? How can I make sure that my dogs and family do not also get pinworms? My mom isn't very happy about it. I also found out for sure he's a boy, yay!

just don't let anyone play with his poogive him his medicine and it will all be fine

Well, I've never had a problem with anything playing with his poop, so I guess we're safe there, haha. It's okay to let him on the floor of my room and stuff?

I was told that they cant transfer them to us. Just make sure to keep hands extra clean.

Yeah, it will be fine. You should really clean out his viv though,,seriously, and use paper towels for now until you get a clean fecal check.

I clean his viv very regularly. He's on a liner of paper, so it's easy to change.
