pink in male beardies urate?

My 6 month old male beardie had some pink in his urate thismorning... Just wondering what it could be? He seems healthy and has been eating like a horse as usual... He is not dehydrated as far as i know (he gets a bath every 2nd day and has been eating greens and crickets) Could it be over supplimentation of calcium or something? Help!

have you fed him anything red like red peppers, strawberries, red beardie pellets. Food colors and dyes can cause pink in the urates. Watch him over the next day or two to see if it continues, if so he may have some hard bowel movements that can cause it. He should be fine but still watch him and if it continues I would seek the advice of a reptile vet.

Yeah all of his veggies are always cut up small... But he did have some capsicum... But hes had that before and this has never happened... Can this be a sign of anything serious? I have only.heard of this in eggbound females!!

You are sure he is male & not female?
Females a lot of times have pinkish urates before they lay eggs but not always. Is this the first time he has has had this colored urates?
Can you think of anything else that could have been ingested to cause the colored urate?

He is most definately male.
Capsicum is the only red thing he eats
Could this be a sign of parasites or anything?

Hahaha yeah sorry, in Australia we call them capsicum... hahaha.
He didn't have any red in the urates today, I'll keep an eye on it for the rest of the week, and if theres still non them I'm guessing thats what it was... Feeling pretty silly right now. I was just like "OH MY GOD! BLOOD!" hahaha
