Pin Worms??????????

Hello,

I have a question I just brought my year old and 3 month old bearded dragon into the vet because she was not acting her self. I just got a call back from the vet because i sent in a stool sample in. And he just got the test results back. he told me she has Pin worm, how bad is that and what else do i need to look out for this is the first time I have ha this happened and He put in a order for medication for me. I just want to make sure that the pin worms will not kill her. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!

Pinworms are pretty common and if they are at low levels they are often left without treatment. Healthy dragons can usually manage them well. If the levels are elevated, and it sounds like that's the case based on your vet's response, they can be wiped out relatively easily with a couple of Panacur doses.

On your part, just be sure to sanitize surfaces really well. Having a bottle of F10SC or a small steam cleaner is helpful. Keep everything as clean as you can to help prevent re-infection and it shouldn't cause much issue.

what should I use to clean her cage was so she doesn't get reinfected because what you're telling me is I have no clue what that is

Im needing some questions answered about my female beardeddragon, I honestly have no idea on age , she was a recuse, as ive had a couple in my life an have experience. I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
