Hey guys.
So its been awhile since Ive posted any new pics of my growing babies...and they are growing FAST!
I got Lola in October at almost 10" and 50 grams, and today she is 13 1/2" and 175g. Which is crazy because, some of you may remember, I found out she had coccidia and pinworms in January. She started treatment Jan 21 and was exactly 12" and 100g on the nose. So shes pretty much grew more in the past month than she has the whole time Ive had her. Luckily we are parasite FREE Her appetite has quadroupled since and shes just packing on the grams!
Now Boss, who arrived to me on Feb 8 at 10" and 55 grams, is already 12" and 109g, so he is growing FAST and I think hes gonna be a big boy
Both are doing great, Im slowly introducing them from across the room. They cant see eachother from their vivs, but neither of them even seem to notice the other when I bring them out. The furthest its gone is me holding Boss about 10" from Lo, without a reaction from either, and they got a bath together one night (with very careful supervision) and Lola was falling asleep and Boss was trying to get out. He is NOT a fan of water/baths yet. Lol
He just finished his first shed with me, and he is brighter already! Hes almost like a rainbow, with a yellow head, orange face, orange legs/feet and a yellow/orange body with big purplish grey bars. I think hes beautiful
Of course, neither of them like the same feeders. Lola will only eat crickets for the most part, with an occasional hornworm or silkworm. Boss refuses crickets, but likes dubia, reptiworms and LOVES waxworms (he only gets 5 a week, every saturday) He will NOT eat hornworms and I have yet to try butters or silks for him. So, COMPLETE opposites, makes my life that much easier. not.
So enough of my rambling and on with the pics!

***UPDATE 3/31***
So, I got a few new pics of the little monsters (or not so little anymore) Boss is now almost 4 months old and Lo almost 9 months.
Boss is catching right up to her though, its crazy. They are the exact same length as of 2 days ago, at 15" exactly. Lola is weighing in at 240g and Boss right behind at 220g. His tail is REALLY long though, but hes obviously going to be a big boy. It just amazes me that they've both put on over 100g since I started this post not even a month ago. Boss is basically in a constant shed...by the time he finishes one hes got about 4 or 5 days and the next one starts, and Lola stopped shedding her legs/head/tail and body at once and now just sheds in very small dime sized patches. That means my babys almost a grown up I dont think she will grow much more in length, she was growing 1/2"-3/4" and 25-30g a week and is now starting to slow down.
OH, and....they HATE eachother. They were never formerly introduced (let out together without being held), only saw eachother across the room at first. They cant see eachother from inside their vivs, but if one of them is out then they can. They would sit there and wave at eachother, back and fourth for an hour non stop. Boss' tank is on a stand and Lo's is on the floor for now until I can move Boss' to another room, and both have paper taped to the sides to make sure they dont see eachother while in their tanks. Well, I had Boss out and was letting him roam around. Hes obsessed with anything green because he thinks its his salad and LOVES greens. He got a glimpse of Lola's bowl of greens in her tank and ran up to them, not realizing there was glass between him and the greens. Lola was up on her hammock and the thumps of him trying to get her greens through the glass got her attention. She has a ramp/brigde thing next to the hammock for her to get onto it and she LUNGED off the hammock onto the bridge and flew off the bridge onto the ground and charged Boss. It was so fast that it kind of took Boss back a little bit and he blew up his beard, so then Lola blows her whole beard and body up. Then Boss head bobs at her, and I dont mean a little bob, it was a break your neck kind of bob, his head would go so high it looked like his front feet came off the ground and then so hard back down that i thought his chin was touching the carpet. Then Lola head bobs back at him...and he just stared at her, so she head bobbed again. Then all of a sudden, out of nowhere Boss swung his butt around, completely flattened out and sideways like the "fighting position" with his beard fully blown, then lunges at the glass 3 or 4 times trying to nip at her so she blows back up, beard out and gets in the same position as him. Thats when I said enough is enough! Its sounds long, but it all happened in less than 2 minutes. Im actually glad it happened though, since there was glass in between them. Before this happened I would hold one in each hand and gotten them within about a foot or a little less of eachother to see how they would react and neither of them would even flinch, so I was doing it everyday so they would get more and more used to eachother before I planned to formerly introduce them. Theyve had a few baths together before this, and never even seemed to notice eachother, so it was definetly getting close to me putting them both on the ground together to introduce them. PHEW! IM GLAD I DIDNT! Obviously i would have monitored them extremely well, and planned to put Lolas harness/leash on her just incase i had to pull her away, but it was definetly much safer with the glass in between. Its so funny though, because like i said, before this they would wave at eachother allllll the time, and havent done it since the incident. Hmmm...
And this is exactly why housing together is not advised!!! Out of nowhere they wanted to kill eachother, and would have if there wasnt glass there and both were housed with other babies before I got them from the breeders.
These arent the best pics, and not that many...just a few I had on my phone and thought Id give a little update.
Enough of me talking and onto pictures...
