I wanted to share my beardie experience with my favorite little girl

I was in Petsmart when i passed by the reptiles, and i noticed one of the baby bearded dragons was attacking the glass as i walked by and followed me along the glass. I kept coming back to look in the tank, and the same one would run down to see me and jump all over her brothers and sisters. I knew i had to have her. She had some terrible tail nips.. and at this point, it's healed.. but her tail is permanently bent at the end now. I bought her that day and threw down about $200 to get her everything she needed. She was spoiled and loved from day 1.

I place her hatch date at the end of may/beginning of june.. although i am not 100% sure. She was very tiny when i got her.. and is still tiny from her stumpy tail.

Nope! We actually went to pick up puppy food because my dog was pregnant! It was truly love at first sight, i believe. :love5:

And i will admit, i was very ignorant at first as to how to even take care of her.. but i busted my butt learning everything i could to make sure she had the best life possible. Most of which i owe to this site!

Yah thats awesome, I owe some of Puffs life to this site. I was just given crap of nfo from the guy I bought it from but I came to this site and changed everything! : )

The woman who helped me at petsmart actually knew what she was talking about for the most part and did help.. but i found out a lot from this sight about temps, lighting, diet, nutrition, etc.

Not to mention i fell in love with the purple sand at the store! I was going to get it for her when she was older, but now i know not to!

I have a lot of moments like that with Puff...always have a camera at hand should be the lesson learned!

Pepper had her first vet appt today and vet says she's totally healthy and 119 grams :mrgreen: Just need to get her fecal back asap.. so playing the waiting game right now. :mrgreen:

And Iris comes today!! Woooo!!

I will get pics of her up as soon as i can.

Well, Iris just arrived about 10 minutes ago. She's a bit spooked from the ride and currently hiding. And already tried to plunge to her death when i took her out of the box.

So i'm gonna hold off on the pictures for a few days. But let me say she's beautiful! And already eating some small dubia roaches.
