Hello all I need your help determining Marley's approximate age. I forgot to ask when I purchased him. Also how much should Marley be eating daily for his age. I put the dollar bill in the pic for a size reference. He is as long as a dollar head to tail. Thanks for your help

O hes only a little baby! And how adorable!!! I think I see a baby beardie in my not too distant future lol!

Dependent on his previous care he could, be anywhere from 6 to 12 weeks old.

Until he is around 12 months old, he should be getting 2 feedings per day, as much as he can eat in approx 10 minutes, each session! He should be eating live food which is no bigger (in length) than the space between his eyes. These should be dusted with calcium 5x per week and vitamins 2x per week. In terms of salad, he probably wont eat much as a baby so dont worry too much about that - just make sure there are greens available to him throughout the day.

He is a little cutie - and such a little personality! You can just see him saying 'this is my rock' and that fierce little open mouth shot is just too cute!

Good luck with little Marley

Actually Marley has eaten some veggies, I put Phoenix worms in with the veggies, and after accidentally eating a few veggies while munching the PW's, Marley now eats them occasionally. Also about how old until I can offer Large crickets? Thanks for your help.

Well thats great that hes already munching on veggies - my little guy (whos a pretty big guy now) was always a veggie muncher so I have never really had any trouble with him eating his salads....

I wouldnt go near the large crix just yet. I dont use crickets as a feeder very often but from what I can remember, a large cricket is about 1" long so its def too big for your little guy. I would stick to 1/4" crickets - possible 1/2" although I think those may still be a little large. Just judge ot on how your little guy grows.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
